[family: Josh & Melissa]

Oh oh oh .... a family photoshoot.  Well - one large family shoot, with a few mini shoots in as well ...

The entire "P" family came out.  The "grandparents", their kids ... and their kids.  It made my head spin, and my blood pump.  Getting all the pics needed, with the clock ticking ... some family members had other places to be, so I worked as fast as I could.  This was a great group - and I was so excited to get things rolling!

So - I combined a whole bunch of shoots into one "one and half hour" shoot.  Each family had their priority with what they wanted ... but being a "mini" shoot meant getting the image, without a lot of moving around.  Well - that depended on how many kids were in the shoot *grin* ...

The first little fam in this series is Josh, Melissa and new little Benjamin.  Oh, SERIOUSLY.  He is just the yummiest newborn ... almost slipped him into my camera bag to take him home - and he probably would've fit *grin*.  And this couple - so so lovely.  Melissa and her mega watt smile, and Josh with his obvious love for her and his new little guy ...

Oh. I love this job!

And even with all the organized chaos ... the little one slept.

Sheer perfection, this little family is.

But there is much more to see ... Josh's brother and sister have their own families, their own stories, their own pics.

[family: Carlie & Emma Pt 2]

Here's a story.  Of a lovely lady.  Who was bringing up a very lovely girl.

La la la la laaaa *grin*.

I was thrilled when Carlie contacted me about taking some special photos of her and her daughter.  She claimed to only have a handful of photos of the two of them together, and thought now was as good as any time to make sure that more were taken.

We headed up to the Fort, and it was eeeeeempty.  Lucky us!  It was like having our own personal outdoor studio.  The sun was shining, and we were ready to go.

It didn't take long for me to realize that Emma had a little friend she had brought along ... Sassy.  Sassy the Horse.  And Sassy tried to make her way into every single photo ... I tried to get a couple without Sassy in it ... and without any tears from Miss. Emma.  Not as easy as one would think ...

Isn't she lovely?

And you can see where she get's it from!

This twosome were so sweet together.  The way they would chat together, laugh together ... you could see how much they loved each other with each glance.

And what better than a bunch of full-on coloured balloons to make a six year old full of smiles? * Thanks Silvia, from http://www.partyonstore.com/ in Langley - she's the BEST! *

We had a great time during this shoot ...

Miss. Emma was so great to work with - which means, Carlie, you are doing a fanTAStic job!!  Thanks again for allowing me to capture these special moments!

So many things going on around here ... Now on day four of the stomach flu *ugh*. But I always promise my clients that I will do my best to get a few pics up ASAP so their loved ones can view the photos too.   SO - this isn't a full post - but another teaser as to what's to come ...

It all began with a mother and daughter ...

OH.  And some balloons *grin*.

More to come ... thanks for stopping by!

[newborn: Baby Bryson Pt 2]

This was NOT the week to get the stomach flu ... well, who are we kidding.  When is it EVER time to get the stomach flu??  I guess the only good thing is that I've been trapped in my room - along with my laptop - and in between naps and sips of gatorade, I've been finishing up some editing of last week's shoots.

This was a "last minute" photoshoot.  I'm pretty much booked up until the end of August, but when K contacted me, I knew that we didn't have a lot of time.  Wee ones are only "wee" for so long ... and this little guy was already 4 weeks old ... so off to another shoot I went.  Gladly!

So, here again is little Bryson ...

It's always so amazing how much love you can have for a new little one ... how much they become apart of the family so quickly ... but seriously - how could you NOT love this face?  I could just eat 'em up!

And it wouldn't be a newborn photo session without some type of proppy-portrait-stuff, no?

And it's important not to leave out Bryson's big brother *grin* ... isn't he just the cutest??

And the family that is now "four" ... so blessed, so highly favoured.

Thanks, J&K, for letting me capture these special moments for you!

Two photoshoots plus a sunshiney weekend makes for great photos - but two shoots are almost a guarantee that you'll go cross-eyed *grin* when sorting through the best pics ...

I have a bucket load to go - but wanted to post a taste of what's to come with Baby Bryson's shoot ...

... more to come.
